Created for Wa Na Wari’s annual Walk the Block celebration. The theme was 50 Years of Hip Hop & I chose to honor 3 musicians I admire, 1 of them being Frank Ocean.
As my first intentional male subject, it was powerful because he’s also covering his face, yet the emotion is still very much present. Boys Don’t Cry is the title of Frank’s magazine.
