Original painting that was displayed at Artist of Color Expo & Symposium at KEXP in August of 2024. My attempt at capturing that ‘perfect, candid, mid laugh’ laugh for When [Your] Dreams Become A Reality. It’s almost a twist because while these moments are something we work for, it’s really about the moments that lead up to it. Like this piece itself: I’m idealizing becoming a big time Artist on my actual Artist journey.
